TCK writer and kid-perpetually-on-a-different-planet Ben Brycko studies Sociology and English at the University of Washington in Seattle, USA. Born and raised in the expat community in Geneva, Switzerland at the intersection of different cultures and world orders, Ben finds himself with an insatiable curiosity for seeing the globe from angles he hasn’t seen it from before, and sharing those perspectives with the world. 

Growing up with his nose in the pages of the fantastical worlds of Cornelia Funke, J.K Rowling, Brian Jacques, Erin Hunter, Ian M. Banks and William Gibson and his eyes glued to the screen to the likes of Avatar: The Last Airbender, Hogan’s Heroes, Star Wars, Ghost in the Shell and Sense8, Ben has been constructing stories in alternate universes ever since his LEGO stop-motion video phase in middle school. He’s since moved into a more lucrative medium with his short stories Dreamjumper and The Historian and his up-and-coming debut novel, The Emerald City.
